Introducing ISOC-LB (2013)

On April 25, 2013 (6:00 to 7:00 pm) at Byblos Bank‘s luxury conference facilities in Achrafieh, Nabil Bukhalid, president of ISOC Lebanon introduced to the Association of CIOs in Lebanon the strategic plan, programs and activities of ISOC-LB.  

Abstract: ISOC LB is a non-profit multi-stakeholder organization created with the purpose of extending the development and availability of the Internet. ISOC LB current focus areas include Broadband, E-Transaction law, IPv6, DNSSEC, IGF and the Next Generation Leaders. ISOC LB strategic plan for 2013 – 2015 summarizes the strategic objectives, projects and responsibilities under ISOC-LB four focus areas: Internet Stability and Security; A Healthy Internet Eco-system; Community Development; and Business Development. The urgent need for IPv6 and DNSSEC deployment in Lebanon. ISOC-LB university clubs and activities to engage the community and build awareness and capacity.
